Preparing for tonight’s party at my house.
My dad knows i love reading, as does every other person in my life. When the e-book reading devices started coming out i was a bit skeptical. Nothing compares to having an actual book in your hands and flipping the pages yourself, there’s something about it that remains timeless throughout time. Then again i am a major technology gadget freak and an e-reader was something i was thinking about getting for myself, but daddy went ahead and got one for me (it traveled across a few states in order to get to my little island of Puerto Rico for it to be here on Christmas day). I must say, i’m impressed. I downloaded a sample and it feels as if you were reading an actual book, the screen looks so much like a real page that it makes you want to reach and flip it to the next one.
Needless to say, i will still continue buying paperback books, just because i will always prefer the actual thing but an e-reader definitely cuts on having to lug around leisure books on top of my school books.
